ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment Instructions.
The ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment is an online tool designed to assess a student’s knowledge in three key areas:
- Rhythm Recognition
- Pharmacology
- Practical Application
Step 1: Create an AHA Account
Visit the American Heart Association (AHA) website at www.elearning.heart.org and create an account.
Step 2: Access the Assessment
- Log in to your AHA account.
- Search for “ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment” in the search bar.
- Be sure to select the assessment without any additional course titles.
- Launch the assessment.
Step 3: Complete the Assessment
- All students must complete the Precourse Self-Assessment before attending the ACLS course.
- A minimum passing score of 70% is required.
- This assessment helps determine your readiness and whether additional review is needed before the course.
Step 4: Submit Your Score Report
Once you complete the assessment, you must print or email your score report. You can:
- Email it to info@fastcert.org, or
- Bring a printed copy to class.
